Many years ago I bought two identical desktop computers second hand. When I got home I noticed that one of the computer’s rear connector panel label was missing. As I had purchased the computers to resell I worried that I may have to sell the one with the missing label for less. Then I had an idea: what if I photographed or scanned the one computers connector panel label, then print it out on a sheet of self-adhesive paper label, laminate it and cut it to size?
Here is how I did it and how you can make your own gloss stickers.
You will need:
- A sheet of self-adhesive paper label (one up) printed with the artwork of your choice.
- A lamination machine and gloss pouch
- A paper cutter or scissors to cut sticker to desired size
Print out desired artwork on label
After you have printed your desired artwork on your sheet of self-adhesive paper label, slip it into a lamination pouch:
Feed it through the lamination machine to laminate it:
Cut the sticker down to size, you now have a homemade gloss sticker:
Peel off backing paper:
And stick on desired surface:
